BETHESDA, Md. Cheap Under Armour Basketball Shoes . -- Roberto Castro went from a share of the lead to five shots behind in three holes. He finished the third round of the AT&T National by hitting a 5-iron left of the 18th green and into the water. And he still managed to be part of a four-way tie for the lead. "Wild day," he said. Not just for Castro. It was like that for just about everyone Saturday at Congressional. Bill Haas hit a wedge into the water and made triple bogey on the 11th hole to fall five shots behind. Four holes and three birdies later, he had the outright lead. He was helped by Andres Romero, who squandered a three-shot lead in two holes by hitting his tee shot into a creek. With all that action, James Driscoll must have felt as if he missed out on all the fun. All he did was post his third straight round in the 60s to join the leaders. Castro put the perfect finishing touch on a theatrical afternoon by taking his penalty drop from the water on No. 18 and chipping in from 80 feet for par. That enabled him to salvage an even-par 71 and claim a share of the lead with Haas (68), Driscoll (68) and Romero, who closed with six pars for a 70. "Saving a bogey would have been huge," Castro said. "Making a par is just a bonus." They were at 7-under 206, which means next to nothing -- not with 10 players separated by three shots going into the final round, with seven of those players looking for their first PGA Tour victory. "This is as good a chance as Ive had for sure," Driscoll said. "But theres still 18 holes to go." Still in the mix is 19-year-old Jordan Spieth, who had a two-shot lead after opening with a pair of birdies. He also went through a five-hole stretch when he missed five putts inside 8 feet -- including a three-putt from 5 feet for double bogey on No. 8. The Texas teen had a 74, though hes still in the game, just three shots behind. "Making a double on the easiest hole on the course, and then following up with bogey on a par 5 with a lob wedge in my hand, it was very difficult at the turn for me to stay calm and hit good shots to start the back nine," Spieth said. "Maybe lost a couple of shots with my emotions there, which is upsetting. But like I said, I shot 5 under yesterday. I could shoot 5 under tomorrow and be in great position." Jason Kokrak had a 70 and was one shot out of the lead, while Charlie Wi had a 29 on the front nine and shot 65 to finish two shots behind, along with Tom Gillis (66). Spieth was in the group at 209 with Brandt Snedeker, who had a 69. Graham DeLaet of Weyburn, Sask., shot a 71, leaving him five shots back at 2-under 211. David Hearn of Brantford, Ont., carded a 74, and is 2 over for the tournament. Ottawas Brad Fritsch also shot a 74, and is at 5-over 218. Haas might be better off except for a pair of wedges. One went into the water on the 11th leading to triple bogey, another came up short on the par-5 16th and led to a bogey. The bright side was his nine birdies to offset that triple and three bogeys. "The back nine, I didnt really know where I was going," Haas said. "Luckily after that triple, I was able to hit three decent iron shots and then make the putt. Certainly, it could have been a 6-, 7-, 8-under day. But it also could have been a 4-, 5-, 6-over day if I hadnt putted well. I dont really know what to make of how Im playing. Just got to hopefully do more good than bad tomorrow." Romero was the only player to reach 10 under at any point, with four birdies on the front nine, including a sand wedge out of ankle-deep rough left of the eighth fairway to about 5 feet. He was sailing along until he set up for a fade on the 11th hole and came off the shot, sending it into the hazard. Castros problems were early, and not entirely up to him. After a bogey on the par-3 second hole when he was on the down slope of a bunker to a short pin, he hit a tee shot right of the third fairway. Just his luck, the ball landed in the soft sand at the edge of the grass and disappeared. The ball was buried under an inch of sand that Castro had to scrape away just to make sure the ball was his. He took a penalty shot to drop it in the middle of the bunker, couldnt reach the green and made double bogey. "Nothing good was going to happen if I swung at it," he said. "And I thought, If I dropped, pitched out, I could make bogey or double, which is not the end of the world. I didnt need to sit there and make 8 or something." Through it all, the son of Peruvian parents with an industrial engineering degree from Georgia Tech never panicked. "Over four days here, every player is going to hit kind of a rough patch," Castro said. "I dont see it being easy out here. ... So mine just came early today, and I just tried to survive it." It looked early on as though the more times Spieth put himself in contention, the more comfortable he would be. That only lasted a short time. He opened with a 10-foot birdie putt and followed that with a tee shot that used the backstop perfectly on the par-3 second, the ball rolling back down the hill to 2 feet for a tap-in birdie. After a good par on the third hole, he had a two-shot lead. Five holes later, he was four shots behind. Thats how quickly the scores changed on a balmy Saturday at Congressional -- not just for Spieth, but for everyone. Spieths troubles began when he missed the green long and right on the fifth hole, leaving him a downhill chip to an elevated green. The best he could do was 15 feet and he missed his par putt, ending his streak of 33 straight holes without a bogey. He missed an 8-foot birdie putt on the par-5 sixth. After hitting 3-wood into thick rough left of the fairway at No. 8 and hacking out short of the green, Spieth had a chance to save par until he three-putted from 5 feet. And on the ninth, his wedge spun off the front of the green and rolled down the hill, leading to another bogey. If that wasnt enough, he missed a 7-foot birdie putt on the 10th. "I think the way this course is set up with this thick of rough and narrow fairways, if you dont drive it good, you can make bogey on any hole," Haas said. "The greens are soft enough that if you hit good drives, you can hit it close. Youre seeing birdies, but youre also seeing some loose shots gets penalized." Under Armour Shoes On Sale . East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork. Cheap Nike Air Max 90 All Gold .com) - The New York Giants officially placed cornerback Prince Amukamara on injured reserve Wednesday, one day after head coach Tom Coughlin said the former first-round pick will miss the rest of the season with a torn biceps. Amukamara suffered the injury in Mondays loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The four-year pro was having a solid season, having tied for the team lead with three interceptions and recording 11 passes defensed along with 45 tackles while starting all eight games. The Giants have already had to deal with season-ending injuries to two other cornerbacks, with Walter Thurmond tearing his pectoral in Week 2 and Trumaine McBride dislocating his thumb during the teams game at Philadelphia on Oct. 12. New York filled the available roster spot by claiming cornerback Chykie Brown off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens. Brown appeared in 46 regular-season games -- including all 16 in 2012 and 2013 -- with two starts over four seasons with the Ravens. NASHVILLE -- After consecutive strong games, Ondrej Pavelec has the Winnipeg Jets in the chase for a playoff spot in the Western Conference. Clearance Womens Nike Air Max . Pavalec made 39 saves in a 3-1 win over the Nashville Predators on Saturday, and coach Paul Maurice knows his goalie has been on a hot streak. "Hes played the same way, believe it or not, prior to. Hes had a big stretch of really good games, and every once in a while, hell play a game like he did (Saturday)," Maurice said. "Clearly he made some great saves, but I also thought we were pretty good clearing it out." Pavalec had 34 saves in the Jets previous game, a 3-2 victory over Phoenix on Thursday. The Jets, ranked sixth in the NHL in penalty kills coming into the game, didnt allow a goal on six Nashville power plays. One of the Predators strengths has been converting man-advantage chances. Entering the game, they were fifth in the league, but Pavelec stopped Nashville on each power play. "Yeah, we didnt have any interest in playing with that fire," Maurice said. "Well take a look at the ones we did give, and we have penalties that we have to avoid taking. Then we also have to recognize our penalty kills are pretty darn good." Simon Moser scored his first NHL goal for Nashville. He also scored in the Sochi Olympics playing for Switzerland. "That was then, at the Olympics, and now is now," Moser said. "I just try to do my best and keep going that way." The Jets improved 11-3-1 since hiring Maurice as coach. Olli Jokinen put the Jets on the board at 5:02 of the second period when he beat Nashville goalie Carter Hutton with a wrist shot for his 14th of the season. Jacob Trouba and Evander Kane assisted on the play when Winnipeg took advantage of a bad Nashville line change. Trouba collected the puck in his own end and fired a long pass to Jokinen on the left side. Andrew Ladd put the Jets up 2-0 at 18:18 of the second period when he tipped in a Zach Bogosian slap shot for his 15th of the season. "We are picking our spots and have some great goaltending," Ladd said. Moser brought the Predators within one, but Devin Setoguchi put the game away when he tapped in a rebound off a Blake Wheeler miss with his 11th of the season at 16:08. With the loss, the Predators missed a chance to tie the Jets in the standings. Winnipeg has 66 points, while Nashville remains in 12th place with 62 points. "I thought we had a lot going on, created a lot of opportunities, and drew penalties because we were on the puck and creating chances," Nashville coach Barry Trotz said. "I have to give Winnipeg credit, they had full commitment from everybody and they got a couple huge saves." This was the final matchup of the season for the two teams. Nashville won the series 3-2. With the Jets up 2-1 and the Predators with momentum, Pavelec came up with a huge save with about five minutes left when he stopped Mike Fishers shot on a 2-on-1 charge to the net. Scoring chances havent been hard to come by for Nashville. The Predators outshot Tampa Bay 21-7 in the final two periods of their game on Thursday, a 3-2 win. On Saturday, the Predators took the first 10 shots of the game before the Jets could muster a chance at the net. "Theres going to be games where you feel like you get your heart ripped out of your chest and you just have to forget about what happened," Trotz said. "We played a really good hockey game, but we didnt win it." Notes: This was the 100th game of Nashvilles Rich Clunes NHL career. ... In 10 matchups against the team formerly known as the Thrashers, Nashville is 7-3-0 on home ice since the 1999-2000 season. ... Ducketts place is under scrutiny after the Northamptonshire batsman struggled once again against Indias slow bowlers to return scores of five and nought in Englands 246-run second Test defeat, at Visakhapatnam. It means the 22-year-old has scored just 105 runs in his five Test innings so far, a tally which includes 56 off 64 balls against Bangladesh on a turning surface in Dhaka last month. Ian Botham believes England need to drop the struggling Ben Duckett But Buttler has not played Test cricket since he was dropped for Jonny Bairstow ahead of the third Test in Sharjah against Pakistan after a run of form that yielded 156 runs in 12 knocks - his overall record in that series reading 34 runs in four knocks - and he is currently short on match practice. The only option England have if they do choose to replace Duckett is Buttler, former England captain Atherton told Sky Sports. It would be difficult to see England go back to Gary Ballance straight away, given that they left him out after the Bangladesh series. Alastair Cook insists Ben Duckett has an England future The advantage of picking Buttler is that hes a right-hander, who have looked more comfortable against Indias off-spinners. The problem with Buttler, though, is very similar to Duckett; when he played Test cricket, he didnt show he had a defensive technique when pitches started to deteriorate and against spin in the UAE - which was when he was leftt out this time last year. Nike Air Max 1 2019. There is no hiding place. Peyton Manning is reportedly set for an 18th NFL season. DeMario Davis Jersey . After their playoff loss, the Broncos fired head coach John Fox and released offensive coordinator Adam Gase and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio from their contracts. Gary Kubiak was hired as Fox’s replacement. Manning is the NFLs all-time leader in touchdown passes and sits 2,147 yards behind Brett Favre in all-time passing yards. Twelve years ago, it was Dan Crowley throwing passes to receivers Jimmy Oliver, Denis Montana, and Eddie Brown, and handing the ball off to Darren Davis. Gary Cahill Jersey . Thats a quarterback with just 253 passing attempts experience, and who would be out of the league in two years; three receivers with just one career 1,000-yard season combined; and a running back who after consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, failed to gain even 300 yards on the ground in either of his two years in Ottawa before leaving the league. Sorry for the painful trip down memory lane Ottawa football fans. Flash forward 12 years and it will be an awfully different scene, one with a lot more promise. Instead of a QB with just 1,696 passing yards at the time leading Ottawas new expansion team, theyll have a 14-year veteran in Henry Burris, a former Most Outstanding Player and Grey Cup champion, who has 51,526 career passing yards. 1,696 yards is a good weekend for the former Calgary Stampeder, Saskatchewan Roughrider, and Hamilton Tiger-Cat. The team has some promise in the receiving corps as well and an electrifying running back in Chevon Walker backed up by some solid CFL experience at fullback. The point is the Redblacks this season will look different than almost any expansion team before them, not just in the CFL or even football, but in all professional sports. Theyll look like a team that can compete. Its a nice change from the Renegades debut, whose problems ran far deeper than their game day roster week in and week out; having a team that can contend, or at least keep things close when the West Division heavy hitters come to town, is a boon to both the new ownership and CFL fans in Ottawa, who perhaps more than anyone deserve some good fortune on the gridiron. Using one part updated expansion draft rules that made more players available and one part a little good fortune in free agency, the Redblacks have built a deeper and more talented roster than your typical expansion team mish-mash. As mentioned earlier, Ottawa will be led by Burris, but theyll have some other veterans sprinkled into the roster to help the roster through their maiden voyage in the CFL. Guys like Walker at running back, receiver Paris Jackson, and offensive linemen John Gott, Joe Eppele, and JMichael Deane will help Burris run an effective offence that could easily be closer to the middle of the pack than the basement come seasons end. And on defence, former Most Outstanding Defensive Player Jovon Johnson should have enough gas left in the tank to lead the unit alongside veterans Keith Shologan, Anton McKenzie, TJ Hill, and Malik Jackson. This isnt to say the Redblacks are instant Grey Cup contenders, which in a nine-team league isnt entirely crazy. With the Winnipeg Blue Bombers heading West and the Argos, Ticats, and Alouettes all coming off at least decent regular seasons in 2013, the Redblacks will enter the year as favourites to finish in the East Division basement, but a 5-7 win season should keep the fans intrigued, and more importantly, excited about the future. Notes Expansion Draft - The Redblacks took their biggest step towards looking like a real team with the Expansion Draft in December. Highlights included picking two quarterbacks in Kevin Glenn and Thomas DeMarco, and other notable names such as Keith Shologan, Chevon Walker, Joe Eppele, and Eric Fraser. Glenn Saga - Kevin Glenn looked to be the Redblacks quarterback of the present until Henry Burris became available on the free market and Ottawa pounced. Not happy with the demotion, Glenn was eventually traded to the Lions where hell instead back up Travis Lulay on his fifth CFL team. Free Agency - Burris was the big coup in free agency but the team landed several other notable players including LB Malik Jackson from the Stampeders, defensive back Jovon Johnson from the Blue Bombers, and WR Kierrie Johnson from the Roughriders. CFL Draft - The Redblacks traded the first overall draft pick to the Stampeders for veteran offensive lineman John Gott, but got back into the first by trading Glenn to the Lions, and ended up with defensive back Antoine Pruneau. Other picks included WR Scott MacDonell in the second round, DL Nijel Romick in the third round, offensive linemen Aaron Wheaton in the fourth and Hugo Desmarais in the fifth, DL Stephon Miller in the sixth, and DL Vincent Desloges, LB Alexandre Bernard, and LS Kevin Malcolm in the seventh. Lansdowne Park - TD Place Stadium has been constructed where Frank Clair Stadium once stood and is expected to be fully ready for the teams Week 4 game against the Argonauts, the Redblacks home opener. Ashley Young Jersey . -- New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft wanted to keep Logan Mankins with the team for a long time. Fabian Delph Jersey . If Vettel wins at Suzuka on Sunday, and his nearest rival Fernando Alonso finishes worse than eighth, the German driver will join his compatriot Michael Schumacher and Argentine Juan-Manuel Fangio as the only men to win four consecutive titles. CALGARY -- Canada doesnt have obvious candidates in goal for the 2014 Olympic mens hockey tournament. Thats unusual for a country accustomed to familiar faces in net when Canadas men step on the international hockey stage. Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur were considered the worlds best goaltenders in their prime, with Curtis Joseph, Eddie Belfour and Marty Turco also regular wearers of the Maple Leaf. But even the man who backstopped Canada to Olympic gold in 2010 doesnt assume hell inherit the starting job in Sochi, Russia, in February. Roberto Luongos 34 saves, including four in overtime, lifted Canada to a 3-2 victory over the United States for the gold medal in Vancouver. "Its an open competition and whoever plays best deserves to be the starter," Luongo said upon arrival in Calgary for orientation camp. "You work hard and you want to be rewarded for your efforts. If Im going to be there, I want to deserve it." Luongo, Corey Crawford, Braden Holtby, Carey Price and Mike Smith were the five goalies among the 47 players summoned to Calgary for informational meetings and player bonding, but no skating. The cost of insuring what Hockey Canada president Bob Nicholson said was $1.5 billion in player contracts was deemed too high to put them on skates. The coaches intended to walk the players through systems Monday on a boarded-up ice surface at Canada Olympic Park. Brodeur, 41, wasnt invited to orientation camp, nor was Marc-Andre Fleury of the Pittsburgh Penguins, even though both goalies were on the Canadian team in 2010. Devan Dubnyk was one of Canadas goalies at the last four world championships, but the Edmonton Oiler was also left off the orientation camp roster. Crawford won a Stanley Cup in June with Chicago and is one of five Blackhawks at orientation camp. But the 28-year-old from Montreal has yet to represent Canada internationally. "Ive worked hard the last couple years and (tried) to prove myself," Crawford said. Smith, of the Phoenix Coyotes, got his first real taste of international hockey at this years world championships in Stockholm, where the 31-year-old posted two wins and two shootout losses. Price was outstanding in Canadas net at the 2007 world junior hockey championship on route to gold, but he too hasnt participated in a mens world championship. The 26-year-olds NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens has been a roller coaster of brilliant runs and falling out of favour. His stats this past lockout-shortened season were unimpressive. Neither his save percentage nor his goals-against average ranked among the top goalies in the NHL. &quoot;Ive had the opportunity to wear this countrys logo before," Price said. Harry Maguire England Jersey. "When you step on that ice, it definitely gives you chills down your spine." Price married Angela Webber on Saturday before flying to Calgary. "To be honest, I didnt actually go to sleep," Price said. "I got some on the flight. You only get married once in your life. Its definitely time to take an opportunity to enjoy it." Holtby, who turns 24 next month, raised his stock during the 2012 post-season with the Washington Capitals. He was rewarded with the Caps starting job this past season, but his international experience consists of an under-18 mens world hockey championship in 2007. "My mind-set is that Im not going to put any extra, added pressure on myself," Holtby said. "My goal is to win games for the Caps. If Im winning games, thats all I can really do." Luongo remained atop Canadas goaltending depth chart a year after the 2010 Games when he took the Vancouver Canucks to within a game of winning the Stanley Cup. Hed still be considered the front runner for Sochi if not for his declining fortunes in Vancouver over the last year. Luongo had his heart set on a trade this summer after Cory Schneider had supplanted him. But Luongos contract -- worth $64 million -- was a drag on his trade prospects. The Canucks stunned Luongo by trading Schneider to New Jersey at the draft, thus bringing the 34-year-old from Montreal back as their No. 1. Its an awkward situation, although its not out of the question Luongo could make a fresh start in Vancouver under new head coach John Tortorella. "What Lous got going for him is that hes won in the past," Canadian head coach Mike Babcock said. "Ive been with him twice, at the 04 world championships and in 2010 and he wins every time. To me, hes got that confidence in himself. Hes been through a tumultuous time and I thought he handled it with extreme class and professionalism." The man ultimately responsible for assembling the 2014 mens hockey team and defending the gold medal isnt lying awake at night worrying about who his goaltenders will be in February. Steve Yzerman believes the position will sort itself out based on the goalies performances between now and December. "I think there are some new faces that are very good goaltenders," Canadas executive director said. "Roberto played on the last team. Corey Crawford is coming to camp. He just finished winning the Stanley Cup. "Things will work itself out. Im not going to worry about it here in August." Wholesale NFL Jerseys Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys From China Cheap Nike Basketball Jerseys Wholesale Hockey Jerseys China Nike Baseball JerseysCheap College Jerseys China Cheap Football Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Canada Wholesale NHL Jerseys Canada Wholesale Nike MLB Jerseys Canada Cheap NBA Jerseys Authentic Canada Stitched Soccer Jerseys Canada Cheap Jerseys Canada NFL ' ' '
Brightons experienced players have been crucial in the clubs promotion push this season, according to manager Chris Hughton. White Air Jordan 6 Retro . Hughtons side will be targeting their seventh consecutive win in the Sky Bet Championship when they host top of the table Burnley on Saturday lunchtime, live on Sky Sports 1HD.Currently four points behind with eight games to play, second-placed Brighton remain unbeaten in their past six home matches, and Hughton has credited having experienced players as the reason for their good position in the league. Brighton and Burnleys clash on Saturday is expected to be a sell-out I think its been pivotal for us this season and thats the reason why we started well, he said.We brought some of that experience on early in the pre-season which I felt helped us settle everybody down and give us a little bit more of a focal point and theyve been important for us all season. Its a wonderful position to be in. I look at where we were at this stage last season, its very, very different and these are the type of games, these are the type of challenges that you really want to be involved in. Tomer Hemed scored twice in six minutes against MK Dons to put Brighton into the automatic promotion spots However, despite a good record at home, Hughton has not underestimated his opponents ability to play away from home.Burnley are a fabulous side, he added. They have a system that they know very, very well, theyve got goalscorers and, in particular, Andre Gray who has been outstanding. They just do what they do very well, home or away. The reverse fixture in November ended 1-1, with both goals coming inside the first five minutes.More recently, Burnley have not lost in their last 10 matches, but Hughton is still hopeful they will be able to close the gap to Sean Dyches side. The game on Saturday is a big game because of where we are in the division and certainly at the start of the season our supporters wouldnt have seen this so anything can happen, he said. Its a big one because it means its point they dont get. Since coming to the big leagues in late May, La Stella is 6 for 7 with the bases loaded, driving in 13 runs in those at-bats.MILWAUKEE -- At least in his first start, Aaron Harang came through with what the Atlanta Braves were hoping for when they signed him late in spring training. After spending most of the exhibition season with Cleveland on a minor league contract, Harang signed with the Braves on March 24 after a series of injuries to the teams pitchers. Making his Braves debut, Harang matched Matt Garzas no-hit bid into the seventh inning Wednesday, when Chris Johnson homered with two outs and sent the Braves to a 1-0 victory. "Its a huge pickup for us," Johnson said. "We were struggling with having guys go down, and were going to struggle getting guys healthy and to have a performance like that. its just what we needed." After season-ending injuries to Kris Medlen and Brandon Beachy, the Braves signed Harang and Ervin Santana. Given how good Garza was in his Brewers debut, Harang had little margin for error. "I looked up there after six and saw zeroes all the way across on both sides," Harang said. "I was just able to come out and keep them off balance and keep their team guessing. Then you see their guy throwing up numbers like that, and youre trying to do the same thing and give your team a chance to win. I was able to do that." Harang (1-0) didnt allow a hit until Logan Schafer grounded a single leading off the bottom of the seventh. He gave up two hits in 6 2-3 innings, struck out three and walked one, throwing 63 of 97 pitches for strikes. "After the first hit, the emotions just run out of you for a minute, but knowing that youve got a 1-0 lead youve got to stay in there and regain your focus and keep executing pitches," Harang said. "The bullpen was able to get me out of that jam and slam the door." Relievers Luis Avilan, David Carpenter and Craig KKimbrel held the Brewers hitless. Womens Air Jordan 6 Retro. Kimbrel got three outs for his second save, completing a two-hitter. "Any time you get a 1-0 win, all kudos goes to the pitching staff," Johnson said. "He was fun to play behind. He was throwing strikes on both sides of the plate." Harang retired his first seven batters before walking Lyle Overbay, then retired 10 in a row before Schafers single. This marked the first time both starting pitchers in a big league game had not allowed a hit through six innings since June 13, 2010, when Ted Lilly of the Cubs and Gavin Floyd of the White Sox accomplished the feat, according to STATS. Alfonso Soriano doubled with two outs in the bottom of the seventh and scored on Chad Tracys single, and Lilly didnt allow a hit until pinch-hitter Juan Pierres leadoff single in the ninth. The Cubs won 1-0. Garza (0-1) made his first start for Milwaukee after signing a $50 million, four-year contract as a free agent. He allowed one run and two hits in eight innings, struck out seven and walked none, throwing 65 of 90 pitches for strikes. "Its one mistake and thats it. Its the big leagues," Garza said. "Youve got to pay for things like that, especially with the heater to the four-hole hitter." NOTES: The Braves have scored five of their six runs via four homers ... Garza hit a dribbler in front of the plate in the sixth that Harang fielded cleanly and threw to first for the out. Gomez followed with a drive down the left-field line that hooked foul, then struck out. ... Jason Heywards diving catch of a Ryan Braun liner to right in the fourth kept Harangs no-hit bid intact. ... The Brewers start a six-game trip Friday to Boston and Philadelphia. ... SAN ANTONIO -- Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, the winningest trio in NBA post-season history, shared hugs. Jermon Bushrod Saints Jersey . Players wrapped themselves in flags from around world, a reminder that the San Antonio Spurs look far beyond the border to build champions, as confetti fell from above. Painfully denied 12 months ago by the Miami Heat, this victory party was worth the wait. "It makes last year OK," Duncan said. The Spurs finished off a dominant run to their fifth NBA championship Sunday night, ending the Heats two-year title reign with a 104-87 victory that wrapped up the series in five games. "We had a great first quarter, but from that point on they were the better team, and thats why theyre the champions in 2014," said LeBron James, who led the Heat with 31 points and 10 rebounds. San Antonio erased an early 16-point deficit and routed Miami for the fourth time in the series, denying the Heats quest for a third straight championship. A year after the Spurs suffered their only loss in six finals appearances -- a heartbreaking seven-game defeat -- they turned the rematch into no match at all. "We wanted to redeem ourselves. Im just glad we were able to do that," Parker said. Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs, who added this title to the ones they won in 1999, 2003, 05 and 07. They nearly had another last year, but couldnt hold off the Heat. "Ive said many times, a day didnt go by where I didnt think about Game 6," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said of the turning point in last years finals. "So I think, just in general, for the group to have the fortitude that they showed to get back to this spot, I think speaks volumes about how theyre constituted and what kind of fiber they have." Not to mention tons of talent, and perhaps the best coaching in the game. "They played exquisite basketball this series and in particular these last three games and they are the better team. Theres no other way to say it," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. The Spurs won four titles in nine years, but hadnt been back on top since 2007, making Foreigners "Feels Like the First Time" an appropriate song choice after the final buzzer. Duncan and Popovich have been here for all of them, and it was the fourth for Parker and Ginobili, who with Duncan are once again the reigning the Big Three in the NBA. Chris Bosh finished with 13 points and Dwyane Wade just 11 on 4-of-12 shooting for the Heat. The painful conclusion to last years NBA Finals served as the fuel for this one, powering the Spurs to a league-best 62-win season and a rematch with Miami -- the first in the finals since Chicago beat Utah in 1997-98. Round 2 went to the Spurs, but both teams have challenges to navigate if there is to be a rubber match. San Antonio will face questions -- as it has for years -- about the age of its core, and whether Duncan, Ginobili and Popovich want to stick around. The Heat will brace for the potential free agency of James, Wade and Bosh, and will need younger, fresher pieces around the three All-Stars if they all stay. But this moment belongs to the Spurs. Playing a methodical, albeit winning, style for many years made San Antonio respected, but never beloved. The Spurs were TV ratings killers, casual viewers finding them not much fun to watch. But Popovich opened up the offence a few years ago, making the Spurs an easy-to-like, tough-to-beat group that thrives on ball movement and 3-point shooting. "You showed the world how beautiful this game is," Commissioner Adam Silver told the Spurs during the postgame award ceremony. A decade and a half after winning their first title in 1999, when Duncan was in his second season, the Spurs remain the NBAs model organization, a small-market team that simply wins big and hardly ever does it with a high draft pick. Instead, they found players overseas or in other organizations who would fit the Spurs way of doing things and mesh with the Duncan, Parker and Ginobili, who have teamed for 117 postseason victories. That included Leonard, acquired in a draft-night trade with Indiana after playing at San Diego State, and Patty Mills, an Australian national who scored 17 points off the bench. In the end, the Spurs made winning their fifth title look stunningly easy -- much to the delight of the home crowd. After the slow start, they had their fans standing, chanting and dancing much of the second half. Notes: It was the Spurs 12th win by 15 or more points, most ever in a post-season. The Spurs outscored opponents by 214 points in the post-season. ... Miami had won 11 straight series, tied for the fifth-longest streak in NBA history. Cameron Meredith Jersey . REGINA -- Edmontons Tyler Thomas and John White, and Saskatchewans Keith Toston will do their best to find holes while plugging them at the same time. Thomas and White ignited a punchless Eskimos offence Friday night by combining for 153 yards rushing in Edmontons 19-14 victory over the host Saskatchewan Roughriders in CFL exhibition action at Mosaic Stadium. Thomas carried the bulk of the load for Edmonton and registered 96 yards on 12 carries. White added 57 yards along the ground, including a 41-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that gave the visitors a 16-14 advantage. Hugh Charles, in his seventh season in the CFL, is the lone veteran on the Eskimos depth chart in the backfield. Charles had two catches on Friday for 13 yards. "It has been a crazy ride for us during training camp," said White, who added one catch for 22 yards. "Its a friendly competition with all of us. I want Tyler to do well, I want Hugh to do well and I want to do well. "Ball out -- thats all we have to do." It was the Eskimos backups that spurred Fridays second-half comeback. Second-string quarterback Matt Nichols threw for 155 yards, most of which came in Edmontons 14-point third quarter. Nichols, the backup to starter Mike Reilly, found Adarius Bowman for a 20-yard touchdown strike and later handed off to White for his long touchdown burst. Thomas showed his versatility the previous week when he led the Eskimos in rushing with 24 yards and tacked on 38 yards on three receptions. Eskimos head coach Chris Jones wouldnt tip his cap to which running back has the inside edge for the starting job. New Orleans Saints Jerseys. "(Thomas) was hanging on to the football," Jones deadpanned. "Well find out in a few days (who our starter will be)." CFL teams have to make final cuts before 10 p.m. Eastern time Saturday. Toston finds himself in a similar position as his Eskimos counterparts. Hes battling Anthony Allen and Jermaine Thomas for the Riders No. 1 running back spot. With the departure of Kory Sheets to the NFLs Oakland Raiders, the defending Grey Cup champions have a big hole to fill in the backfield this season. Tostons 67 yards rushing on seven carries Friday night helped his cause in that tight race. Allen had 39 yards along the ground on 10 carries and Thomas was held to eight yards. "At this point, we have all battled as brothers for this job," Toston said. "Whoever is blessed with the opportunity to be that number one guy is going to ride with it and Im sure the next man will cheer him on." Roughriders head coach Corey Chamblin hinted the job might be one accomplished by committee. "I think theres still something that needs to be proven at that spot," he said. Darian Durant looked sharp for the Riders. He was 7-for-11 passing for 113 yards and two touchdowns, both to Taj Smith. Reilly completed nine of 15 pass attempts for 60 yards. Woodstock, Ont. Mens Nike Air Max 1 Cheap . - Team Canadas Brooke Henderson carded a 4-under 67 at Craigowan Golf and Country Club to jump into the lead at the Canadian Womens Amateur Championship on Wednesday. Henderson opened her second round with a 3-under 32 and followed it with back-nine birdies on the par-5 13th and par-4 17th holes to grab the outright lead at 5-under 137. The 16-year-old has played near flawless golf since opening the tournament with an over-par front-nine on Tuesday. "It was a tough start yesterday being 3-over through eight holes but then I went 4-under the rest of the way which was really huge," said Henderson, the defending champion. "I had a couple of moments yesterday that really saved my round and I think that really saved my tournament. Going into today I knew I had momentum and I just wanted to keep that going." With that momentum the Smiths Falls, Ont. native currently sits one-stroke clear of her teammate Augusta James of Bath, Ont. and Liz Breen of  Waynesboro, Pa., who share second place at 4-under 138 at the conclusion of Wednesdays windy second round. "It was much tougher today, we were here bright and early and it was quite a bit colder from past days so the ball wasnt quite flying as far," Henderson continued. "The wind also really picked up especially in the middle of my round, I was hitting four clubs more than what I normally do." James battled back during her closing nine, carding birdies on her final two holes to finish with an even-par 71. Breed held the outright lead for a short time on the back-nine before bogeying two of her last six holes to finish tied with James. Australias Su-Hyun Oh posted a 2-over 73 to finish in solo fourth at 2-under 140, while Megan Osland of Kelowna, B.C. and Californias Betty Chen share fifth place at 1-under par. In the Inter-Provincial Team competition, the Team Ontario contingent of Henderson, James and Brittany Marchand of Orangeville, Ont., soared away from the field to capture the team title. The squad fired a 5-under 137 to finish 15 strokes ahead of Team Alberta in the 36-hole competition at 10-under par.   In the Mid-Amateur division (25+), Christina Proteau of Port Alberni, B.C. posted a 6-over 77 to card a two-round total of 153. Proteau currently sits three strokes ahead of Helene Chartrand of Pincourt, Que. In the Mid-Master division, Chartrand, the defending champion, fired a second round 1-under 70 and currently sits one-stroke ahead of Marion Reid of Etobicoke, Ont. at 11-over 153. "I like our position in the standings and I like how our team is playing," LaRoche said after Washington swept a day-night doubleheader from the Cubs on Saturday.WELLINGTON, New Zealand -- South Africas Sharks and defending champions the Chiefs remained the only unbeaten teams in Super Rugby after a fifth round which featured a storm of yellow cards and cliff-hanger endings. The Durban-based Sharks withstood a furious second-half fightback to beat the Queensland Reds 35-20 for a fourth straight win which gave them a five-point lead atop the championship table. The Hamilton-based Chiefs scored two late tries to beat the Cape Town-based Stormers 36-20 for their third win, after the Stormers rallied from 24-6 down to 24-20 with six minutes remaining. The ACT Brumbies, reduced to 14 men for almost 20 minutes, held on to beat the New South Wales Waratahs 28-23 in a gripping Australian derby, inflicting the Waratahs first loss in three games. In Dunedin, the Western Force were reduced to 13 men for the last eight minutes but clung on to beat the Highlanders 31-29 for their second straight bonus-point victory. Replacement flyhalf Hayden Parker scored a last-minute try for the Highlanders but missed the conversion, allowing the Force to claim back-to-back wins for the first time since April 2011. The Auckland-based Blues scored 36 second-half points in the most remarkable comeback of the round but still went down 39-36 to the Lions in Johannesburg, to be left with only one win from four matches. The Blues had two players sin-binned during the second half. In Wellington, the Hurricanes overran the Cheetahs 60-27, by nine tries to three, to capture their first win of the season in a match in which defences were either inept or non-existent. The match featured the most bizarre sin-binning of the round -- Cheetahs fullback Willie Le Roux was shown a yellow card in the 43rd minute for a deliberate knock-on, though it seemed perfectly apparent he had attempted an intercept. The flurry of yellow cards and a number of other contentious decisions again focused attention on the poor or inconsistent standard of refereeing, which continues to frustrate coaches and players. Scrums remain a particular area of frustration but there have been wider concerns about the failure of referees to spot glaring infringements -- notably in a critical try for the Lions against the Blues which came ffrom a knock-on. Nike Air Max 1 Trainers All Gold. Players and coaches must also answer for a lack of structure and the poor quality of fundamental skills in many matches -- the rates of turnovers and handling errors are higher than even early season glitches can excuse. The match between the Hurricanes and Cheetahs was a free-for-all that lacked any structure and in which tackles were not only regularly missed but often not even attempted. The Brumbies showed the value of a well-organized defence in their win over the Waratahs. Though they conceded 14 late points, they were still able to hold on while a man short to post their third win from four games and to move to the top of the Australian conference. Flanker Scott Fardy and flyhalf Matt Toomua were leaders of an outstanding Brumbies defensive effort. Brumbies captain Ben Mowen said he was disappointed his team lost two players to yellow cards, requiring it to play most of the last 20 minutes with 14. "Discipline goes hand in hand with how we want to play," he said. "Thats not something you can do regularly and expect to get a result." The Sharks benefitted from a yellow card in beating the Reds after leading 25-6 at halftime. Queensland dominated a half during which it remained parked in Sharks territory but the sin-binning of Beau Robinson allowed the Sharks to score a converted try three minutes from fulltime to clinch the match. "We gave the Sharks some ball position and some ill-discipline really cost us - theyve got some great goalkickers and that showed on the scoreboard," Reds captain James Horwill said. The Chiefs again showed they are the best-coached team in New Zealand with their win over the Stormers. They scored five tries, including one to Tanerau Latimer in his 100th match, as coach Dave Rennie and his assistants devised a method to break down the Stormers formidable defence. "Its pretty exciting when you do a lot of analysis during the week and you see certain pictures that the defence gives you and you are able to exploit it right up the field," Chiefs co-captain Aaron Cruden said. "We made most of our best gains deep in our half as opposed to closer to their line. It was nice to step up." Wholesale NFL Jerseys Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys From China Cheap Nike Basketball Jerseys Wholesale Hockey Jerseys China Nike Baseball Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys China Cheap Football Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Canada Wholesale NHL Jerseys Canada Wholesale Nike MLB Jerseys Canada Cheap NBA Jerseys Authentic Canada Stitched Soccer Jerseys Canada Cheap Jerseys Canada NFL ' ' '
